"The New Toronto"
The reason I took this photo during our classes Toronto field trip. Theses bikes are able to be rented for a certain amount of money. You put your credit car into the pay booth and it will unlock one of the bikes for you. The longer you rent the bike out for the more money it will put onto your credit card. To return the bike you can go to any of the bike stations around town and click it into place. It will then stop tallying the time and will print a receipt.
These are quite neat and show the Greater Toronto Area growing its way to become more green. This shows that people are also being green because there is a bike missing. These bikes don't cost too much to rent either. They are quite cheap so that people will use them over spending time and money on gas for a car. Especially with all the traffic in the downtown area of Toronto Most of the gas in the downtown cores's cars are being used while in idle while in traffic.
