Breaking The Rules

"I'm hungry, all the sudden"
Here I am breaking the rules with not using a flash when there is no light. This is to show the true colors and not any of the colors that would have been enhanced by a flash.

"Grilled"
Here I am breaking the Rules by using a flash while the light s are on there is chrome reflecting back. this also creates a lot of dark spots on the grille, many flashes as well.

"So Shiny, Lighted"
Here I am breaking the rules by using a flash in the bright daylight to get shine off of places I normally wouldn't  and to make it so there are almost no dark spots.

Mixed Lighting

Light Types: Sun, Studio
Shutter Speed: 1/500
Aperture: f/20
In this photo I tried to get some shine off the wheels and the quarter panels of the car. This shows studio light on the rims and sun on the body of the car.

Light Types: Sun, Flash
Shutter Speed: 1/1000
Aperture: f/16
I tried using a flash to get some shine on all the chrome, but use the sun to get the light in the rear tail lights. The exhaust tip and the rims shine nice with the flash, not to much but enough to make them stand out.

Light Types: Sun, Reflector
Shutter Speed: 1/250
Aperture: f/12
I used a reflector to get the whole of the car, it did make a bit if a shadow because the light was dulled, this shows the glare in the rims but not as much on the body from the light. the sun still hit the bumper of the car and made a bit of a shine there but that's just nature.

Different Light Portraits + 3 Fav Portraits

AMBIENT LIGHT PORTRAIT - FAV 1
I like this photo because it is very well shot and it makes ask questions, such as how can one look so beautiful and how can the light accent her so well. I would recreate this photo by finding a really hot girl and bringing her to a house and taking photos, with all the lights on.

NATURAL LIGHT PORTRAIT - FAV 2
I like this photo because it makes me question on how natural light can bring out such a bright blue in the females shirt and yet add such a nice shadow around her sides. I could recreate this photo by finding another beautiful girl and taking photos out side in a green park.

STUDIO LIGHT PORTRAIT - FAV 3
I like this photo because it really makes me wonder how you can really photograph someone as well as this photographer does, it makes me really want to take more photos like this. I could recreate this photo by finding another beautiful girl and taking her to a studio and have all the lights off, but 1 studio light still on.

Light Painting

In this I show the movement of a light to cover more that what one light would show.
5 Second Shutter Speed
In this photo we show the movement of a light source to show different lines in mid-air
10 Second Shutter Speed
In this photo I'm trying to show the same person in two different places with flashing a light and then letting a person move while the light is off, once they are ready you flash them again with the light to show the movement.
